人気脚本家の宮藤官九郎とイラストレーターの安齋肇によるコラボで生まれた絵本『WASIMO』を原作とする10分間のショートアニメ「わしも wasimo」の第３シリーズ。第２シリーズに引き続いて川瀬敏文が監督を、細川徹がシリーズ構成を担当する。 大好きなおばあちゃんが死んでしまい、毎日泣いていたひよりちゃんのために、パパがおばあちゃん型ロボット“わしも”を作ってくれた。おばあちゃんと同じ入れ歯を使い、歩くスピードはカタツムリより速い程度。そんなわしもとひよりちゃんが織り成す、キュートで楽しい日常生活を綴る。
